NWLSD Superintendent Announces Retirement

On June 7th, at the Board of Education (BOE) meeting, Todd Bowling, Superintendent of the Northwest Local School District, announced his retirement. The BOE voted and his retirement resignation was received and approved by the Board and will go into effect on June 30th.

Todd Bowling has been an NWLSD employee for over 30 years. He began his time here as a teacher and later went on to become the Principal of Northwest High School and the Director of Business Operations. In 2015, Todd accepted the role as Superintendent, advancing and leading the district forward.

“After 30 years of leadership, the news of Todd’s decision to retire is hard to accept; however, we wish him well and support his decision,” said Darrell Yater, NWLSD Assistant Superintendent. “His presence, influence and leadership skills will truly be missed.”
